At Parklands Leisure Centre, we run a disability swim every Thursday at 2pm for an hour. The session is £3.30 per person, with carers going in free. The swimmer must be registered for a free EA card through our website prior to coming and booking onto the session is advised due to availability in the session.
We have a pool hoist which has a maximum load of 140kg (22st). We also have a disability wet change room with adjustable sink, shower and ceiling changing hoist and changing bed. Our building is also on ground floor level with disability spaces available outside. Our car park is ran by the council and they have car park charges.
