Marie Scobey (nee NICHOLAS) founded A BIG VOICE back in 2006, initially offering singing lessons for all ages and abilities whilst continuing to sing live, performing to audiences across the UK. Already an experienced singer, with over 25 years of Studio Recording and live performances, including Cruise Ship work, under her belt, Marie began coaching private students on a one-one basis before expanding into running singing workshops for local communities, theatres and corporate team building events.
Marie's love and expertise for Teaching, Singing, Performing and Entertaining means anyone who discovers one or more of her services receive something really special and tailor made as she shares her passion to coach others how to unlock their true vocal potential. This has earned her the nickname Singing 'Maria', like the infamous character from 'The Sound Of Music'.
In 2008, due to high demand, A BIG VOICE expanded its perimeters of clients from across Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, the outskirts of north London and the South East.
