Guernsey Sailing Trust

The Guernsey Sailing Trust was set up to make sailing accessible to all. We have been growing our Sailability programme to help everyone get out on the water - no matter their ability.

We have small Oppie dinghies that sail on the Model Yacht Pond and are suitable for children under the age of 10; Hawk20 keelboats, which are sailed on the sea; two RIBs; and an RS Venture Keel Connect, which is specifically designed for wheelchair uses and those with less mobility. We understand that sailing and powerboating can be a daunting activity and will work with each individual to find a boat and instructor that suits them. There will always be an instructor in each of the boats and walking next to the boats in the pond.
